The former Fugees’ star, Lauren Hill, denied that she was supposed to perform alongside her former colleagues. Her denial has finally put to rest some rumors that she was going to reunite with her former band mates in Port-au-Prince at the Martelley presidential inauguration.
“This performance announcement was unfortunately false, as Ms. Hill is currently on tour in the U.S. and will be performing in Santa Barbara, California that evening. Any reports to the contrary in the press are incorrect,” a statement from her publicist confirmed last week.
CSMS Magazine tried to contact Wyclef Jean, but was not able to reach him for comment.
