The historical town of Saint Louis has taken some steps to normalcy after weeks of protests, as one can see in the video below. This is just a pause in the quest to find the perfect way forward. Like the rest of the country, Saint Louis waits—patiently. The holiday season is just around the corner, but for the children of Saint Louis du Nord, life will still be the same, like those who live at the raw edge of poverty. Every year when Santa commandeers his sleigh to Bliss Land, they never make his list. Papa Noel has long been written off their minds. They no longer believe in this fairytale. How can one blame them?
