As an infant, Raven worked for Atlanta’s Young Faces Inc., a modeling agency. Raven was also featured in local print advertisements. At age two, she worked with Ford Models, Inc. in New York City and appeared in ads for Ritz crackers, Jell-O, Fisher-Price, and Cool Whip. Raven-Symoné began her career in the entertainment industry at the age of three. She is now one of the most popular actresses in Disney Channel.Raven is an American actress, R&B and Pop singer, songwriter, dancer, and television producer. She is the kind of girl every teen looks up to. Raven is truly a very popular young lady. Very early in her career, she acted in The Cosby Show, Hanging with Mr. Cooper. She also appears as Eddie Murphy’s rebellious daughter Charisse in Dr. Dolittle and Dr. Dolittle 2.Raven started to become a better star when she began her association with Disney Channel. Since then, she starred in the popular Disney Channel Original Movie Zenon and reprised that role in Zenon: Z3. Raven has played in a lot of Walt Disney pictures, such as The princess Diaries 2. She also has a leading role in the lifetime movie For One Night. In 2003, Raven began her role as Raven Baxter in That’s So Raven, her own show in Disney Channel. In it, she played a confident, charismatic and occasionally clairvoyant teen, who can predict the future. That shows became Disney’s highest-rated and longest running series. According to Wikipedia, for her work in That’s So Raven, she won the prestigious NAACP Image Award in the category Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children’s Program. She also won the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite TV Actress in 2004 and 2005.That’s So Raven was nominated for a primetime Emmy Award in 2005. The show had become so popular that a video game and a DVD episode were made from it. Raven starred in the Disney movies The Cheetah Girls and The Cheetah Girls 2. She also was the one that came up with that idea.Raven also plays the voice of Monique in the Kim Possible, the show and in the movie Kim Possible: So The Drama. Raven appears in The fresh prince of Bell Air, The proud family, Fat Albert. Raven is not only in actress but also a singer. Her first album named Here’s to New Dreams was released one June 22, 1993. Another album titled Undeniable was released in May of 1999. An other album titled This is my time was released on September 21, 2004.Her last album spawned three Radio Disney hits: Backflip, Bump, and Grazing. All three songs did really well on the billboard chart. According to Wikipedia, Raven is currently working on her fourth album. Raven have her own clothing line.According to Celebopedia, Raven is a humanitarian, who addresses issues of concern to children. She served as an ambassador for former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s Children First program and now speaks on behalf of the National Safe Kids Campaign, a program encouraging home safety for families.
