Last week, it was a pleasure to welcome filmmaker Indrani Ray to “The Conversation.” Indrani is the executive director of her own film production company. Her latest trilogy, Love in the Times of Corona, was the topic of our conversation. I have to say that I was moved by the subject. As you all know, life as we knew it four years ago is far different from our reality today. Many of us now feel like we’re moving through a dark alley of no return. The loss of a loved one, the disruption of a professional career, the grief, the sorrow, all these have long turned life into a very scary endeavor.
This is a very difficult subject to tackle, but Indrani Ray seems to have found the perfect rhythm to soften the hearts of so many of us who have yet to recover from the doomsurfing effects of the pandemic. I had the privilege to watch the three films, so touchy and real, and I can understand why the trilogy has been so critically acclaimed.
