Last night, in their suburban home at the World Golf Village, Ardain and Maryse celebrated a dazzling milestone: their 26th wedding anniversary. One would never notice they have been married this long. They were young and inexperienced when they said “I do” twenty-six years ago on a December 26th in a North Jersey parish. It was cold and snowy. But they had their love to bring the warmth, the heat into the hearts of everyone inside, as I remember too well. Few thought the marriage was going to last this long. Twenty-six years later, they’re still going strong with four wonderful children to bring the joy in the house when vicissitude threatens.
Twenty-six-twenty-six (26/26), December 26 and 26 years ago, who could ask for more? Among relatives, colleagues and friends, they had a sumptuous dinner where their guests wined and weaved through the beat of sweet konpa-love. CSMS Magazine can only wish them well.
