From canine to feline, Snoop Lion formerly known as Snoop Dogg took center-stage tonight at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Art in Washington where many music personalities were being honored for their lifetime achievement. Dressed in a funky jacket that overlapped his bowtie and white shirt tucked into tight trousers held by velvet suspenders, like a medieval jongleur, Snoop was at his finest. Do you remember this old saying? “It doesn’t matter where you start because what’s important is where you’re finished.” Rapper, singer-songwriter, and actor, Calvin Cordozar Jr. or now Snoop Lion, was reportedly to have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide during his career. Undoubtedly, Calvin, like most of his colleagues in showbiz, had a humble beginning. Now he sits at his throne!
