Vet his demeanor, not what he says

As a woman, you should never show weakness in your relationship. No matter how much is your passion, always try to find a way to maintain your self-control. Petty affection—shallow and skin-deep— like the easily-to-cave-in attitude, will never work. On the contrary, it will deepen your misery and take you, if you’re lucky, to the trail of an everlasting temporary love. If you truly want to know if he is sincere, watch his actions, not his words.

Actions speak louder than words. Insinuation is just as much as a form of art as dance is. Learn to read a person like a book. Body language is as fundamental to the dating world as Latin is to the romance languages, and figuring out how to read the body language of the gentleman at attendance is essential to building and securing a relatively perfect relationship. If his eyes are wandering, or if he’s checking his watch or fiddling with his phone or can’t sit still, you’re losing his attention, and you’re losing it fast. To capture his attention again, you have to do something bold. Shift the focus of the conversation to something that you know will engage him, like favorite baseball team or mutual friend.

Consequently, if all the tricks in the book fail, you know he is just a fool, a coureur de jupon in the hunt for another chica. Suppress your feeling and move on.
