This week in the conversation, Ardain Isma sits down for a frantic talk with Dr. Lunine Pierre-Jérôme, a longtime advocate for Haitian Creole. She teaches at Cambridge College in the Graduate School of Education. In addition, she is the Academic Director of the Haitian Creole Institute, a University of Massachusetts-based summer program that has been in existence for more than thirty-years. The main topic of the conversation is her advocacy on behalf the Creole language and her works as a translator as she has translated several literary works into Creole.
