Wearing what’s appropriate for a date is the key to a first and lasting impression. Experts say if you’re not sure of where you’re going, just ask him. The last thing you want to do is to dress for a fancy dinner when you’re really going to Wendy’s for a burger and taking a walk down the park, which could end-up being a blistering hike in high heels that you certainly won’t enjoy.
Most men couldn’t tell you what couture clothing is, and most don’t appreciate designer shoes, either. I have to say that feeling beautiful doesn’t necessarily mean having on the expensive dress fit for the uptown girl. If wearing those things makes you feel good about yourself, then you should wear them around family, friends, and colleagues—unless you’re absolutely convinced it is appropriate attire for a date.
Generally speaking, men want to see a woman wear something that simply flatters her figure—something that is well suited for the occasion and isn’t loud or cumbersome.
