Since the pandemic begins, more than one thousand individuals working in the teaching profession have died of Covid. They were teachers, administrators, custodians and more. Their stories, though a bit different from each other, reveal a tragic trend that explains the precarious life of those who work in the frontline of the educational system. Yet, in Florida, you have a governor who could not care less about this tragedy, politicizing the issue and even warned school administrators of punishment for introducing mask mandate on school sites.
