Happy International Women’s Day!

No one can deny the pivotal role women play in our world. Too often, however, their contributions seem ignored, and unacceptable injustices committed by men against women have reinforced this rarely spoken reality. Today is the day we must cherish our women without whom our world could not have been possible. If you look at the statistics, you’ll find out that women still lag far behind men when it comes to making strategic decisions—whether it is in government, in education, in industrial development…

Here we are in 2018, gender inequality is still a major problem plaguing our society. There is no scientific evidence that proves women are genetically inferior to men. But it is this form of bias that is at the roots of all injustices committed against women—from verbal, sexual to physical abuses. It is hard to imagine even in industrial societies, where education and other opportunities are somehow equal, women are disproportionately pushed aside in most decision-making process. I believe sexism should be surgically removed. Our women deserve far better!
