Last Sunday, at the Plantation Heritage Park, CSMS/CSYF held its first picnic. Under an eighty-degree temperature, many people, indeed, showed up to spend a nice moment with the organization, as it celebrated Father’s Day. Venec Saintvil rocked the park with wonderful sweet compa, zouk, troubadour and meringue. As part of ongoing fundraising activities, a 19’ inch TV, a DVD/VIDEO and Dr. Isma’s book were given away. The organization held the raffle in order to raise much-needed funds to keep it operational. Marjorie Marges from Pembroke Pines won the first prize. Venec Saintvil won the second prize and Dr. Jean Wiesner won the third one. “I think CSMS is a promising organization. We need more devoted citizens like that in our community,” said Stephanie Pantel, one of the participants.FULL STORY
