Author Aleksandra Tryniecka is in “The Conversation” this Friday, speaking with Ardain about her award-winning novel titled “Bunky and the Walms.” Quite a nice way to end the year! Bunky is the protagonist who lives one thousand miles away from the North Pole. He leaves home to go spend Christmas with his cousin Rodney as well as with aunt and uncle Walm. In an unexcepted twist, Bunky becomes the hero who will save Christmas from imminent danger.
Also, besides being a “Christmas Hero” as the author puts it, Bunky is a prolific writer who dreams about meeting the beautiful characters that he himself has created to write his stories. Through the pen of Aleksandra, one can see Bunky as being closely attached to his creator. They live together. Magnificent work. Although the book is a children fantasy as a genre, all adults can’t seem to get enough of it. The many awards and accolades are proof of that.
