Saint Louis du Nord is the town described in Ardain Isma’s famous novel, “Midnight at Noon.” Nestled on Haiti’s northwestern coast, Saint Louis has always been revolutionary–pre and post-independence era. Like the rest of Haiti, this town was the scene of recent anti-government protests. But this video shows the town is slowly returning to some sense of normality—for now.
