Breast Cancer and Abortions: learn the truth

fight against cancerCSMS Magazine Staff writers

The risk of Breast cancer does not appear to be increased by abortion. This conclusion is based on a comprehensive study in which researchers studied the histories of 1.5 million Danish women born between 1935 and 1978. Because Danish requires registration of all births, abortions and cancer cases, this study avoided reporting bias found in earlier studies in which some women undergone abortions may not have disclosed that fact to researchers. This bias may explain results in some earlier studies that suggested a link between abortion and cancer.
