Today, Nickenson Prud’Homme is one the hottest Konpa/Zouk singers and producers around. But if you haven’t been watching TeleMax, Trace TV, or been listening to the konpa band Zenglen in the past ten years or the latest new konpa and zouk songs, chances are, you may probably have not heard of hit Haitian sensation Nickenson Prud’Homme.Born and raised in Haiti, Nickenson Prud’Homme, at the age of thirteen, was already an established maestro in a short-lived group called Explosif. Then in his later teenage years, he would be found in the famous Haitian band Djakout Mizik, where he worked for a few years. Later, he would become one of founding members of Zenglen as the main keyboardist and producer of the band.            In late 2005, Nickenson Prud’Homme would go on to release his first self-titled debut album. The breakup meant that Nickenson was finally going to concentrate more on his solo projects and collaborating with zouk artists such as Warren, Princess Lover, Leila Chicot, Milca, and Ali Angel.            In early 2008, Prud’Homme did an interview with Haitian magazine website www.konpamagazine.com in which he stated that he would be working on a new group that he founded in Miami and is not revealing the name until next summer. Rumor has it that he will be premiering the new group at the 2008 Haitian Konpa Festival in Bayfront Park in North Miami Beach and will be performing with the new group along side his former band, Zenglen.            Nickenson Prud’Homme is an artist with an undisputed talent of mixing konpa and zouk beats together.
